Brilliant food, brilliant service and a brilliant setting. The menu is quite extensive, and as a Polish friend said, “ I get the same flavours and food that I had as a child”. The restaurant is dog friendly, but there were few options for vegetarians.
Overlooking the valley the restaurant is on the left hand side of the road as you travel from Nerja, near a public underground car park at the entrance to the town. Access is easy, but is not really suitable for disabled people because of unsuitable toilet facilities. I can thoroughly recommend this as a most enjoyable eating experience. Warning! The helpings are very generous.

Lovely food and nice staff make this a must visit venue in Frigiliana.
I live in the village and this is one of my favourite restaurants – the food, the staff, the service, the location; all fantastic.
A fantastic restaurant in a fantastic village and a wonderful setting.
The food is truely excellent and not at all expensive.
Strongly recommend a visit.
Thank you for your compliments. Hope you will keep in touch. Tony
We ate at Sal y Pimienta on Friday and had a lovely Polish meal. They are opening a new Polish Bakery next door, and it is due to open in March – check it out.
This part of Frigliana is starting to get some new shops, but I personally believe that the village authorities have damaged Frigiliana by not properly finishing this market area. They should have at least put a proper frontage on all of the shops.
